When placed over operable single pane windows, Standard Indow Windows reduce window noise by 10 dBA, which is up to a 50% sound dampening performance. You can also choose Acoustic Indow Windows that dampen noise by 18.9 dBA (over 70% window noise reduction) when placed over operable single pane windows.*
In addition to window noise reduction, Indow Windows also provide excellent thermal insulation and save you money on utility bills. To learn more about the thermal and energy saving benefits please read about our performance metrics.
“THANK YOU! We love our Indows. We are amazed at how quiet our house is now. We hadn’t realized just how loud it was. There is a great calm and peace now.” Jayne O., Portland, OR
Cheyenne Pepper’s marketing firm Foto Crush needed a new home. The search led her to the historic Olympic Mills building, a tastefully renovated warehouse with a spacious light-filled corner office. It was perfect except for the railroad running directly outside.
Outside our factory are very active train tracks and although we have updated double pane windows throughout the offices, the sound of squealing brakes presented an ongoing distraction. So what did we do? We outfitted all of our windows with Indow Windows. The difference is astounding!
*Please note the 50% to 70% sound deadening performance is based on tests where the Standard and Acoustic Grade Indow Windows were placed over operable single pane windows. Overall sound reduction depends on sound coming through your walls and doors. The noise reduction will be less when Indow Windows are placed over double pane windows.
